The VMC18 is a AIS metal-clad vacuum switchgear using the VECTOR18 VCB. Essentially of the same design as the VMC12, the VMC18 has larger clearance distances, with phase-center distances of 165mm on the VCB; the external dimensions of each module are 650mm X 1500mm X 2000mm (WXDXH). Used on 17.5 kV installations, the VMC18 is also used on 12 kV installations requiring higher than standard insulation levels.
